Q: When is vendor orientation?A: The mandatory vendor orientation is on May 22 at 10 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2 p.m. and again on May 24 at 6 p.m. Q: What if I am a vendor requiring power for my booth?A: All vendors who require power must note so on the application. All non-food vendors will be located in a "Hot Zone" along the 400 South Street of Washington Square to reserve energy usage during the Festival weekend. Q: May I request a specific location for my booth?A: Although we will try to honor requests, the Utah Pride Festival cannot guarantee placement in any particular area or location. Q: I am a Non-Food Vendor, but I would like to distribute an edible sample of _____________ . Is that possible?A: All edible samples must be distributed in sealed packages that do not require refrigeration (if samples require refrigeration, units must be available at your booth). If you wish to sell food, please see the Food Vendor Application on our website. For more information please call the Bureau of Food Protection at 801.313.6620. Q: I want to distribute bottled water with our company logo. Is that possible?A: The Utah Pride Festival reserves the right to sell and distribute bottled water. Q: May I distribute _______ with the Utah Pride Festival logo on it?A: The Utah Pride Center and the Utah Pride Festival reserve the right to use the Utah Pride Festival logo. No other parties, unless prescribed with written permission, may use the Utah Pride Festival logo for any other purposes. Q: How much do the booths cost?The prices in quotations represent the amount of discount that will be made available for early sign up. Food Vendor 10x20 booth space Sign up by: April 15 May 1 May 15 $600 (-$150) $600 (-$75) $600 What are the required materials for my application for Utah Pride Festival?A: Required vendor materials for Utah Pride Festival depend on the type of booth or participation you will have with the Festival. NON FOOD VENDOR: Completed application, Payment, Certificate of Liability Insurance FOOD VENDOR: Completed application, Payment, Food Handler’s Permits of ALL individuals working the booth on ALL days, SLVHD Temporary Food Service Permit, Certificate of Liability Insurance PARADE APPLICANTS: Completed application, Payment, Proof of Auto Liability Insurance (if applicable), Valid Driver’s License of all individuals operating Parade vehicles (if applicable) Q: How do I get liability insurance if I do not have it?A: In order to participate in the Utah Pride Festival in a booth space, Utah Pride must receive proof of business/organization insurance ($1,000,000 coverage) naming "Utah Pride Festival" and the "City of Salt Lake" as additionally insured. Most insurance companies will provide this to you free. If you cannot or do not provide this, Utah Pride will refer you to our low-cost, day-of policy insurance carrier, Casswood Insurance Agency ( Michael Westley, Media & Special Events Coorldinator Utah Pride Center Or fax them to the Utah Pride Center at 801-521-5215. As one of the premiere gay prides in the Western United States, we welcome people from Logan, Park City, Provo/Orem, St. George, Moab, our rural communities, and surrounding states of Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado, and Idaho to join us for the Utah Pride Festival.
