The theme for the 2010 Utah Pride Festival is "Our History, Our Future". This year's festival marks the 40th anniversary of the first pride festival in New York City following the legendary and pivotal Stonewall Riots in 1969. With every step forward we take as a community in the progression of rights and acceptance for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer community, we honor the efforts of those whose shoulders on which we stand. Where we have come from marks the foundation of the work needed for a better tomorrow.

The Utah Pride Festival is held in downtown Salt Lake City on the historic City & County Building grounds.
