Exhibitors and Vendors PDF Print E-mail

One of the vibrant elements of the Utah Pride Festival is the more than 120 vendors and exhibitors who participate each year. This year is no exception, and the numbers look better than ever. Showcasing the diversity, size and color of our community, our Vendors and Exhibitors help make the Festival interesting and provocative! But don't wait--space is limited and sells out long before June.

In the past, Vendors and Exhibitors at Utah Pride have included:

  • Souvenir and merchandise retailers.
  • GLBT-friendly businesses seeking to recruit new employees and customers.
  • Political candidates interested in meeting with constituents.
  • Free HIV and other health testing.
  • Social and sports organizations seeking new members.
  • Educational and political organizations distributing information.
  • Food vendors.
  • Artists and arts organizations.
  • Games, attractions, and novelty booths.

Why Be a Exhibitor/Vendor?

Vendors and Exhibitors at Utah Pride have the opportunity to directly interact with more than 40,000 GLBT people and their allies in Utah’s largest annual gathering of this community. For-profit businesses, political candidates, various causes, and retailers will discover a captive audience interested in their products and message.

Studies and research have found that GLBT people make up a brand-loyal and lucrative niche market in any business plan (nationally, the GLBT community has approximately $655 billion in spending power). Non-profit organizations will have the opportunity to educate the GLBT community about important issues, recruit members, and get feedback from the community about their interests and goals.

Space for Vendors/Exhibitors is unfortunately limited. We try to accomodate as many as possible, focusing on those with quality presentation.

Please download the appropriate forms and return them, along with any fees, as soon as possible.

Tips for Exhibitors/Vendors

  • Be sure to read all documentation carefully. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may prevent us from assigning you a space or processing your application.
  • With over 120 vendors, consider how you will attract the average festival-goer to your booth. Giveaways, games, decorations, and outgoing people staffing your booth will increase your success at Utah Pride. Again, presentation is everything!
  • Get the most out of Pride. While a booth is a great way to reach the Pride audience, you might also consider becoming a sponsor, participating in the Pride Parade, and attending other Pride events.
  • Bring out your supporters. Before the Festival, why not send an e-mail blast to your mailing list letting your supporters know that you’ll be there and encouraging them to drop by?
  • Plan ahead. Make decisions early about which equipment, supplies, products, brochures and decorations you will use, who will be responsible for bringing them, who will staff your booth throughout the day, and what your goals for the day are.
  • Bring your sense of humor! Remember that Utah Pride is a volunteer-run event and that little mix-ups can occur, but we will always do our best to solve your problems and make sure you enjoy your experience. Please let us know if we can help.
