Men’s Support Group
October 13 @ 6:30 pm - December 28 @ 8:00 pm
The Utah Pride Center Gay Men’s Support Group meets Tuesday evenings 6:30 to 8:00. A longstanding group, it offers a safe environment for gay men to share with and respond to other gay men on a large scope of topics of interest and importance. No topic has proven too insignificant, nor have we shied away from tough discussions. Facilitated through the Pride Center Mental Health Department the Gay Men’s Support Group is not a therapy group; rather, it a space for developing social trust between men over eighteen and breaking isolation due to the coming out process, changes in personal relationships or being new to the area. Members come from all over the Wasatch Front, from as far as Ogden and Provo, Park City and Tooele.
The group requests members self-identify as male and referrals can be made to other groups or services if desired. The Gay Men’s Support Group is available without cost, has no set time limit. Members have attended regularly for over a decade.
We are currently meeting virtually until further notice. Please contact Danny Peterson to join.
