DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 17th- 2021NCVRW PRESS CONFERENCE–  Join us virtually for this year 2021 NCVRW Press Conference\, livestream via FaceBook @ncvrwutah \nThis year’s theme– “Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities” – recognizes the strong foundation upon which the field of crime victim assistance is built\, and focuses today and in the future to provide all survivors with help\, hope and healing. \nThe goal of NCVRW is to annually publicize and promote the needs\, issues and concerns of crime victims and survivors; the many services available to support them in the aftermath of crime; and the challenges that remain to promote individual and community safety across our Nation. \n  \n2021 National Crime Victims Rights Week Events: \n  \nApril 18-24th \n\n“Shine the Light on Victims of Crime”–Joins us by placing a blue light and lawn signs/poster on your porch or window starting April 18-24th to show support and hope for victims of crime in the community.  #NCVRW2021UTAH\n“We Stand for Victims Rights”-  Create a short video with an uplifting message of hope for victims of all crimes to remind them that they are not alone.  If you are not wanting to do a video\, you can still participate by taking a picture holding a sign stating: ” I Stand for Victims Rights”.  #NCVRW2021UTAH ]\n\n    Example message:  “We stand with all our neighbors\, friends\, and colleagues whose lives have been forever altered by crime to raise awareness of victims’ rights”\n\n\n“Paint One Blue Nail to Stand for Victims’ Rights”- It is a simple and fun way to support by painting your ring fingernail Blue to show your support as we all stand for victim’s rights – Seek Justice | Ensure Victims’ Rights | Inspire Hope.  You will be able to share your video and /or picture\, along with a message if you choose to do so to inspire Hope for Victims of All Crimes. #1NailBlue  #NCVRW2021UTAH\n\nNote: You are welcome to share your picture and/or video by emailing at hkoenig@utah.gov  or tag us at #2021NCVRWUTAH
