Education and Training

Who Are We

Our Education & Training department provides cultural competency training, annual conferences, GSA/QSA work, school collaborations, and Community Education Learning Series.

Why Are We Here

The LGBTQIA+ community faces increased rates of prejudice, discrimination, and mental health concerns, partially due to a lack of understanding and awareness of the community. We recognize the power of education, which is why we provide learning opportunities to increase community connection, acceptance, and appreciation for the LGBTQIA+ community. This work gives allies and members of the LGBTQIA+ community tools to make their lives, environments, and spaces more affirming and inclusive.
