Dr. Patty Reagan will be recounting her personal history for us in October. A popular professor of health at the University of Utah, she founded the Salt Lake AIDS Foundation (SLAF) in 1985 to provide education and information on HIV/AIDS. A year later she became the Director of the Women’s Studies Program at the U. Her health classes always featured a day when she invited a panel of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual people to address the class and answer questions from students. She is the 1999 recipient of the Dr. Kristen Reis award for service to the Queer community.
