The Utah Pride Center is looking for a proactive, energetic, and skilled individual to undertake an exciting and challenging position, that focuses on managing the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of Clinical Services. The expectations are to provide suicide prevention education, resources, and support throughout Utah, with a particular focus on improving resources in rural areas. The Utah Pride Center seeks an individual to lead our team, who is inquisitive, innovative, strategic, solution-oriented, collaborative and inspired by the Utah Pride Center’s mission, vision, and values. 

The Clinical Director will provide inspirational, innovative, and forward-thinking leadership, serving as an important thought-partner Executive Leadership Team and as a key leader and spokesperson for clinical services throughout the state. Responsible for providing clinical leadership, fostering superior quality patient care, developing clinical goals and program expansion, ensuring evidence-based practices, and contributing to the recruitment and retention of clinical staff. This position needs to maintain a .4- .5 clinical caseload. The Clinical Director will provide oversight to an existing staff of three clinicians plus interns and Peer to Peer Support.

  • With the executive leadership team, assures department staff’s compliance with all relevant UPC policies. 
  • Participates in procurement and monitoring processes related to Managed Care, Global Payment, and Insurance/MCO contracts for outpatient mental health care. 
  • Oversees the department’s compliance with payer/funder contracts. 
  • Collaborates with Grants Manager in efforts to obtain new funding and assures the continuation of on-going funding. 
  • Provides individual, family, couples, and group therapy services per scope of competency.

Your skills and expertise in grant management will aid the Utah Pride Center in providing meaningful Programs and Services to our community through continued funding.

The Utah Pride Center (UPC) has been serving the Salt Lake City area for 30 years. We are the largest LGBTQ+ community organization in Utah. The Utah Pride Center is looking for an individual that champions the LGBTQIA+ community to work as a Finance Manager to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of financial business practices. The Finance Manager will report data to the executive leadership, run reports, and advise on financial aspects of non-profit sustainability and responsibility.

  2. Advise on financial issues, compliance, sustainability, efficacy, and best practices.
  3. Conduct internal audits and adjust processes and procedures to support organization sustainability and responsibility.
  4. Create reports for executive leadership, board, donors, and community.
  5. Ensure financial business practices are ethical, legal, and best business practices.
  6. Preparing cheques for utility, tax, payroll, and other company bills.
  7. Using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to keep, maintain and balance financial records.
  8. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, general ledgers, trial balance, and other financial statements
  9. Prepare and submit pension forms, tax returns, and employees’ compensation forms
  10. Performing client bookkeeping services
  11. Preparing other accounting, statistical, and financial reports
  12. Reconciling financial accounts
