“CenterLink is excited to continue our work with the Johnson Family Foundation, and so appreciative of their continued support.  At a time when people are facing tremendous physical and mental health challenges, the mental health services that LGBTQ centers provide are essential. This program is so important in supporting and developing center mental health programs and has made a tremendous impact for LGBTQ centers and communities across the US and Canada. We look forward to working with each center as they grow their mental health programs to better meet the needs of their communities,” said CEO Denise Spivak.

$150,000 in grants were awarded to support capacity building mental health programs at these seven LGBTQ centers. The program has awarded over $1.8 million to LGBTQ centers since its inception in 2010.

“As the demand for critical mental health services continues to rise during the pandemic, the Johnson Family Foundation is grateful to continue our partnership with CenterLink to strengthen the mental health infrastructure of LGBTQ communities nationwide,” said Richard Burns, Johnson Family Foundation Interim Executive Director.

CenterLink applauds the ongoing commitment of the Johnson Family Foundation and its support of our mission to strengthen, support, and connect LGBTQ community centers.
