Program Descriptions

Orientations
Orientations can be obtained during drop in hours from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Mondays – Fridays, excluding Thursdays, and are required before participation in any activity starting after 5:00 p.m. Orientation is a time for incoming youth and a member of the Youth & Family Programs Staff to meet and go over the different groups, expectations for the space, and resources offered by Youth & Family Programs.
Drop In
Drop in is a time for youth to access the space without attending an orientation. Our drop in space includes a kitchen and snacks, a mini-cyber center, TV and games, library, and an exchange closet and glam area.
Social Time
An unstructured social time occurs after regular programs Mondays-Fridays, excluding Thursdays, and is open to youth who have completed orientation. While staff is on the floor, this is a time for youth to socialize with each other after the completion of programs.
Youth Survivors of Suicide Attempts (YSOSA)
YSOSA is a facilitator led support group that meets weekly. Our Youth SOSA Curriculum comes from the Didi Hirsch Institute, and is designed for youth ages 16-20. In addition to an orientation, a YSOSA intake with the SOSA Coordinator is required.
